Japan’s Maria Ozawa making debut in MMFF 2015

Metro Manila Development Authority chairperson and concurrently head of the Metro Manila Film Festival Executive Committee Atty. Francis Tolentino has announced the eight official entries for the 41st MMFF edition.

Eight entries will be competing in the said festival starting Christmas Day, December 25. First movie is under ABS-CBN Film Production and Viva Communications ‘Beauty and the Bestie’ starring Vice Ganda and Coco Martin under the direction of Wenn Deramas. Next is Randolph Longjas’ ‘Death and Senses’ starring Rayver Cruz, Jason Gainza, John Lapus, Ian Veneracion, Janine Gutierrez and Lotlot de Leon produced by Quantum Films.

Jun Lana’s ‘Haunted Mansion’ starring Janella Salvador, Marlo Mortel and Jerome Ponce under Regal Entertainment and ‘Hermano Puli’ (Ang Hapis at Himagsik ni Apolinario Dela Cruz) a film directed by Gil Portes under Teamwork Film Productions with lead stars John Prats and Karylle are also included. Mayor Herbert Bautista who is romantically linked with Kris Aquino are leading the cast of Antoinette Jadaone’s ‘MR and MRS Split’.

Japanese adult video artist Maria Ozawa and Robin Padilla are stars of Haunted Towers Pictures’ ‘Nilalang’ (The Entity) under the direction of Pedring Lopez. Octoarts Films, MZET Productions and APT Entertainment’s entry ‘Romcom-in Mo Ako’ starring Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai Delas Alas with Jose Javier Reyes as the director is also in the list. The eight film is Director Dan Villegas’ ‘Walang Forever’ starring JM De Guzman and Jennylyn Mercado under Quantum Films.
