Asia’s Got Talent has named its grand winner tonight, May 14 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Philippines’ shadow play group El Gamma Penumbra bested the Musical ensemble Khusugtun from Mongolia.
Other grand finalist who did not make it to the final two are representatives of the Philippines singer/acoustic guitarist Gwyneth Dorado, Soprano singer Gerphil Geraldine Flores and Multi-genre dance act Junior New System, Girls’ tap dance group Dance Thrilogy from Singapore, Dancers/acrobats Gao Lin and Liu Xin from China, Boys’ rock band The Talento from Thailand, Neo-traditional dance troupe Triqstar from Japan.
International singing sensation Charice reunited with her mentor David Foster in a special performance on AGT’s stage.
The show which started airing March 12, 2015 on AXN Asia is hosted by Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez. The superstar judges are Anggun, David Foster, Melanie C, and Vanness Wu.
The winner takes home US$100,000 plus the opportunity to perform at the Marina Bay Sands.
