“Prince” Albert Pagara defeated his Mexican opponent Rodolfo Hernandez on Saturday night in the undercard of Pinoy Pride 30 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The 21-year-old boxer remained undefeated and retained his International Boxing Federation intercontinental super bantamweight title.
In the fourth round, the bout was stopped after the ring physician advised that Hernandez could not continue for the next round due to an injured right hand.
AJ “Bazooka” Banal won over Indonesian Junior Bajawa via unanimous decision. Bazooka received identical 80-71 scores from the three judges.
Bajawa received a point deduction in the sixth round after he and Banal clashed heads. The 26 year old Filipino boxer sustained a cut on the right side of his head. Blood dripped on his face, however, Banal manage to come after his opponent.
