British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran arrived in Manila Wednesday. The Cathay Pacific flight from Hong Kong landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 at around 4p.m. The 24 year-old singer is set to perform at the Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday, March 12.
Two separate incidents occurred at the airport on the singer’s arrival. According to the source of InterAksyon, Sheeran was accompanied by airport security to the domestic arrival exit instead for the airport’s arrival area was crowded by overeager fans.
Another incident took place earlier at the arrival hallway linking the plane to the airport where one of Sheeran’s staff brushed aside an overzealous photographer and called him a “monkey”. The incident resulted to the questioning of Sheeran’s staff at the immigration area.
