Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla, son of detained Senator Bong Revilla, was rushed to Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa City today. He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit. According to Cavite Governor Juanito Victor Remulla, Jolo sustained a gunshot wound on his upper right chest.
Remulla said in a phone interview with Inquirer.net, “he sustained a gun shot that went through his upper right chest. I don’t know how it happened. He’s alive.”
Senator Revilla’s talent manager Lolit Solis, said in an interview with dzBB that “sad to say” the gunshot wound appears to be self-inflicted. She added that the young Revilla was greatly affected by his father’s ordeal.
Media officer of Senator Revilla Clifford Elorde said the Revilla family is soliciting prayers for Jolo and will soon issue a statement.
