Angelica Panganiban wins 2014 Cinema One Originals Best Actress award

ABS-CBN actress Angelica Panganiban was named as Best Actress at the 2014 Cinema One Originals film festival Sunday, Nov. 16. The 28 year old actress was part of the romantic-comedy film ‘That Thing Called Tadhana’ directed by Antoinette Jadaone.

Angelica was not able to personally receive her award for she is currently on a vacation in the United States. Veteran actress Shamaine Buencamino and Mimi Juareza are among the nominees for Best Actress award.

Maria Isabel Lopez won Best Supporting Actress award for portraying a role in ‘Lorna’ while Sandino Martin of the film ‘Esprit de Corps’ and Matt Declan of ‘Soap Opera’ won the Best Actor award.

Director Eduardo Dayao’s film ‘Violator’ bagged the Best Picture, Best Sound, Best Editing, and Best Supporting Actor awards.

Paolo Bertolin, Richard Bolisay, Angeli Bayani, Erik Matti, Benjamin Illos, and Tito Genova Valiente are the members of this year’s jury.
