Journey’s lead vocalist Arnel Pineda is set for another Hollywood project after his 2012 documentary film ‘Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey’. The movie will be part of ‘Asian Music Camp’, a reality talent search that targets to encourage artists who dreams of having an international career. The Movie will be release by Warner Bros.
The movie is inspired by Pineda’s life story. It tells about hopeful talented singers who really want to lift their career in internationally. It will also impart a message on how to pursue their dream regardless of circumstances.
Pineda will undergo workshop for he will appear in some parts of the movie. However, another actor who needs to know how to speak Tagalog will play as his character.
The contest is open to singers and musicians from all over Asia whether solo or group. Auditions will start in January next year.
The grand winner of “Asian Music Camp” will win1 million US dollar and a recording contract. All competitions of AMC will be held in the Philippines, thus Pineda stressed out that he will not be biased especially to Filipinos who will be joining.
