Winners of Miss World Philippines 2014 was crowned on Sunday, October 12 at the Mall of Asia arena. Miss World Megan Young turned over the crown to half German-half Filipina Valerie Weigmann of Albay province.
Valerie is a 25 year-old actress, commercial model, one of Eat Bulaga’s segment host and one of the owner of the bamm, a first German-Turkish restaurant in Makati City. The 5’9 beauty won the majority of the special awards including including Best in Swimsuit, Fashion Runway and Long Gown. She was also chosen as Miss Solaire, Miss Filia, Miss Jesi Mendez, Miss Reducin, Miss Olay, Miss Bench, Miss Camarines Sur, Miss Hana and Miss Blue Water Day Spa.
Declared as Runners up were Lorraine Kendrickson as First Princess; Nelda Ibe as Second Princess; Nicole Donesa as Third Princess; and Rachel Peters as Fourth Princess. Winners won cash awards and products from the sponsors.
Miss World Philippines 2014 Valerie Weigmann will undergo training in the coming months in preparation for Miss World 2014 pageant in London this coming December.
