The Voice of the Philippines to return on television soon

The reality singing competition “The Voice of the Philippines” will soon return on television for its second season. The second season will be bigger and tougher compared to the first season. Season two’s teaser was aired on Saturday, October 11, 2014.

Returning coaches Lea Salonga, Sara Geronimo, and Bamboo Mañalac will face Filipinos around the globe of different walks of life, all with their own goals and reasons for joining the competition.

Luis Manzano and Toni Gonzaga will host The Voice of Philippines season two, while Alex Gonzaga and Robi Domingo as ‘V’ reporters.

Last season’s grand winner is Mitoy Yonting of Team Lea and Klarisse de Guzman of Team Sarah was announced as the runner-up. Mitoy won two million pesos with an Asian tour, a brand new car, an entertainment package and four year recording contract.

The first season premiered on June 15, 2013 and ended on September 29, 2013. Second season’s premiere is yet to be announced.
