Lea Salonga means no disrespect for Daniel Padilla

“I’m actually looking at you as a 13-year-old and seeing what you’re going to be like five years from now. Their names are going to be erased once you get to that age,” Lea Salonga said to praise Juan Karlos Labajo after his performance of Bruno Mar’s Runaway Baby Saturday night July 26.

However, Lea Salonga immediately stated her apology to Daniel Padilla. “Ohhh dear… I offer my deepest apologies to Daniel P and his fans. In building up JK I neglected to think that I might hurt other people,” Lea said on her twitter.

“I meant no disrespect, but I humbly ask for forgiveness if that’s how it came across.

On Sunday, Daniel Padilla said on The Buzz “Narinig ko lang po ‘yun kanina.
