The first The Voice Philippines Kids Grand Champion is Lyca Gairanod, a nine-year-old girl garbage gal. Lyca was hailed grand winner at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila Sunday night.
As the first The Voice Philippines Kids grand winner, Lyca Gairanod receives PhP1 million cash prize, recording contract from MCA Universal, house and lot, home appliance showcase, musical instrument showcase and PhP1 million worth of trust fund.
Lyca Gairanod performed Ulan with the OPM band Aegis before she was awarded as the grand winner of “The Voice Kids.” Coach Sarah, Lyca’s mentor said after the little girl performed, “That’s my superstar, Lyca! Parang concert mo! Masayang masaya ako na ako’y umikot para sa ‘yo!”
Juan Karlos Labajo, finishing third, stunned the live and national TV viewers when he performed Eto na Naman with Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano.
Darlene Vibrares the “girl on fire”, finished fourth, perfomed with Lani Misalucha. Darren Espanto the “total performer”, finishing second, opened the night with Martin Nievera.
