PH Navy successfully airdropped supplies to BRP Sierra Madre

A Philippine Navy aircraft dropped supplies to troops stationed in the BRP Sierra Madre at Ayungin Shoal In West PH Sea this morning, Saturday, May 3, 2014. Supplies include bottled water, bread, canned goods, instant foods, reading material which were donated by civilians. Also, the bundle included encouragement letters from young students.

“About 9:15 today, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) executed a supply bundle drop for our soldiers currently aboard BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin Shoal,” the military said.
