Senators Miriam Defensor Santiago and Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will be running in tandem in the May 2016 elections for president and vice-president, respectively. “I think we mutually chose each other,” the lady senator said today.
Santiago is yet to file her candidacy for the highest post in the land, while Senator Marcos already filed his certificate of candidacy at Palacio del Gobernador, Intramuros, Manila, 13 October 2015.
An event for Senator Santiago is set at UP Bahay ng Alumni in Quezon City on Monday, October 19 around 4 pm.
“If I become president sometime in the very near future, this country will be much better that it was before. Today this country suffers from the malaise of plunder,” said Santiago October 13.
