The latest Nationwide Survey conducted, May 30 to June 5, by Pulse Asia shows that Vice President Jejomar is the most trusted among the top five government officials. Fifty-seven percent of surveyed individuals say that they have ‘big trust’ on Binay. The nationwide survey is based on 1,200 Filipinos eighteen years old and above.
President Aquino was placed at second position with 50 percent of respondents saying they have ‘big trust’ on the President. Senate President Franklin Drilon followed with 45%, followed by House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte (28%) and Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno (27%).
Pulse Asia said issues during or immediately before the survey was conducted were Mary Jane Veloso’s temporary reprieve, report of the special panel of probers created by the Office of the Ombudsman on Makati City Hall Building II, Binay’s bank accounts were frozen.
Also on the news during and immediately before the survey period were the killing of Basit Usman, start of DepEd new school year, continuation of Senate hearing on corruption allegation against Binay, BBL on Congress, Valenzuela City fire incident and West Philippine Sea.
