Senator Grace Poe is now number one in the Presidential Preference survey of Pulse Asia, this is the first time Vice President Jejomar Binay did not make it to the top. The survey was conducted by Pulse Asia from May 30 to June 5 across the country.
The survey showed that 30 percent of surveyed individuals voted for Senator Poe. She got the highest percentages in NCR, Luzon and Visayas.
Vice President Binay, from number one with 29 percent last March 1-7, is now second with 22 percent of surveyed Filipinos voted for him.
Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte was placed at third with 15% from 12% last survey. He got the highest percentage in Mindanao with 37%.
Secretary Mar Roxas tied with Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada at fourth with 10%. Roxas was previously placed at fifth with 4%, while Estrada previously tied with Duterte at third with 12%.
Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago (6%), Senator Alan Peter Cayetano (2%) and former Senator Panfilo Lacson (2%) also placed in the said survey.
In the Vice-presidential survey, Poa also topped the list with 41%, followed by Chiz Escudero with 15%, Cayetano with 12%, Duterte (9%), Marcos (9%), Lacson (6%), Trillanes (5%), Robredo (1%).
