Philippine National Police Academy cadets from class of 2016 and 2017 underwent Air to Ground Operations training with Philippine Air Force from May 26-30. “The cadets of Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Class of 2016 and 2017 conducted an Air to Ground Operations Seminar (AGOS) together with the Philippine Air Force Huey pilots and crew at Bataan Nuclear Plant, Morong Bataan,” PAF said.
According to PAF, the training was designed to “improve the PNPA inter-operability with the Air Force.”
Training covers close air support, heli-borne assault, communications link-up, marshalling of aircraft for medical evacuation and other air support operations.
PNPA was established to provide preparatory education and training of the three uniformed bureaus of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) namely, Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).
