Mother of Mary Jane will make the government pay: ‘Aquino did nothing’

The family of convicted drug trafficker Mary Jane Veloso is now in the Philippines. Celia Veloso, mother of Mary Jane, vowed to have the government pay for its alleged shortcomings in dealing with the case of Mary Jane. (Ngayon ay nandito na kami sa Pilipinas ay marami kaming sisingilin sa gobyerno.)

Mrs. Veloso said Aquino did nothing to save her daughter from death row, saying the government fooled them. She said they thought Aquino contributed to save her daughter’s life.

Mrs. Veloso also hits the Department of Foreign Affairs. She said they want to be covered by Indonesian media to thank President Widodo, however, the DFA did not agree. (Gusto naming magpa-media, hindi kami ma-media.)

“The people saved Mary Jane, not Jokowi and certainly not Aquino,” leftist group Gabriela said.

The Indonesian government decided to let Mary Jane stay to become a state witness against her alleged illegal recruiter here in the Philippines.

“There was an official request submitted to the president and president responded to the request. We gave the Philippines government some time to reveal the truth of human trafficking crime,” Indonesian Attorney General Muhammad Prasetyo said.
