Robin Padilla: There is no rule of law in this country

Actor Robin Padilla expressed his dismay on social media over the temporary release of Sajid Ampatuan, one of the suspect in the 2009 Maguindanao massacre. Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 221 temporarily released Ampatuan after posting P11.6-million bail. “The prosecution panel failed to establish strong evidence that would warrant the continued detention of Sajid Islam while the trial is ongoing,” the court said.

“Tunay po na wala ng naghaharing batas sa Inangbayan Pilipinas,” Padilla said.

Robin believes there is no rule of law in the country, justice is not blind folded and the government has no teeth against powerful individuals. He also claims that the Department of Justice is nested by syndicates.

“My Almighty God, my creator Allah, please take me out of this Forsaken Land. My wife @marieltpadilla bring me out of this Lawlessness, Insanity, Underworld before it’s too late for us,” Robin posted along with Ampatuans’ photo.

Sajid’s father and brother – former Maguindanao governor Andal Ampatuan Sr. and former Datu Unsay mayor Andal Ampatuan, Jr. – are the primary suspects in the 2009 Maguindanao massacre.
