AFP reloads ammunition, projectiles in Maguindanao

The Armed Forces of the Philippines augments its supply of ammunition and artillery projectiles in Maguindanao as military troops engage the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters in an all out offensive. On Sunday, March 9, members of Philippine Marines unloaded a Philippine Air Force C-130 at Awang Airport in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

As of 8 am today, the AFP recorded 73 fatalities and 33 wounded Moro rebels from BIFF. The government lost four soldiers, while 29 were wounded.

Military intel says BIFF now only has 350 armed fighters. The all out offensive of government forces is expected to last until Wednesday, March 11, exactly two weeks after AFP Chief-of-Staff General Catapang ordered the all out offensive.
