Expulsion of Chinese electricity experts a product of thorough study

“We’re quite certain that the Department of Energy has arrived at this particular conclusion after a thorough study of the advantages and disadvantages of it,” Deputy Presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said in an interview with dzRB Radyo ng Bayan today, commenting on the the report that all Chinese technical experts working in National Grid Corporation of the Philippines will be sent home on July.

The government decided to sent home all Chinese electricity experts considering national-security. On July the grid corporation will be operated entirely by Filipino experts.
