After the January 30 necrological services offered for Philippine National Police Special Action Force troopers who were killed in action during the Mamasapano clash, Police Officer III Robert Allaga was one of the remains taken out of Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City to be brought back to his home town Banaue, Ifugao.
In a photo uploaded by GMA News stringer Peewee Bacuño on his micro-blogging page, Allaga’s fellow policemen offered a – in what could be seen a sacrifice for their fellow police officer. Policemen carried PO3 Allaga’s casket using a bamboo pole trekking a rough terrain.
There are at least thirteen fallen elite policemen from the Cordillera region. Cordillera policemen offered traditional rites and vigil on Firday night for their fallen heroes in Camp Bado Dangwa.
The entire nation mourns with the families of forty-four killed SAF Troopers. January 30, 2015 was declared as National Day of Mourning.
