“It can also perform other missions such aerial survey for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief missions when necessary,” he added.
Initial two out of eight armed helis were delivered and expected to officially enter service within this quarter. All eight are expected to be commissioned this year.
The Philippine Navy also received its two AW-109E armed variant.
