Blue Maserati Marshall driver mauls MMDA traffic enforcer

Quezon City Police District Director Sr. Supt. Joel Pagdilao revealed the identity of the luxury sports car driver who attacked a Metro Manila Development Authority traffic enforcer.

Joseph Russel Ingco, 39 years old, is allegedly the driver of a blue Maserati Marshall who tried to turn in a ‘No Left Turn’ intersection. MMDA traffic enforcer Jorby Adriatico tried to take a photo of the sports car while violating the traffic rule, however, when the driver saw Adriatico taking picture he made a U-turn going to the post of the enforcer.

According to Adriatico, the driver took his phone then grabbed his collar and punched him in his face. While grabbing Adriatico the driver drove the car some few meters. The driver then left the MMDA traffic enforcer taking the phone. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. today, November 27.

“Motorists are not allowed to take a left turn on the Araneta intersection so I tried to take a photo of him violating the traffic rule,” Adriatico said in Filipino. “When he saw me, he made a U-turn and drove back to where I was standing.”

MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino said the driver’s aggressive action merits appropriate penalty and condemnation.
