Vice President Jejomar Binay does not deny his plan of running for presidential election in 2016.
“I announced that as early as after the day of the election. Another occasion where I would always say, let us not be hypocrites. The following day after the 2010 election, [I said] yes, I will be running for the position of president,” VP Binay said.
“Let’s just be honest with each other, we will not be able to distinguish whether I am working or campaigning. Let’s not be hypocrites,” Binay said referring to those who are accusing him for engaging in early campaigning.
Vice Governor Agnes Magpale believes that Vice President’s visit to several towns of Cebu is clearly a form of campaigning.
Binay distributed T-shirts and posters with his name and face and also shared a meal with the residents.
The Vice Governor is also worried that Vice President Binay chose to travels to northern Cebu instead of attending the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing.
VP Binay who is facing plunder case before the ombudsman and is being investigated confirmed in an interview that he is “contemplating already” to file charges to those who are calling him a thief.
