Trillanes glad with Binay’s ratings drop

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV can’t hide his joy with the recent drop in survey ratings of Vice President Jejomar Binay. “I am glad that our fellow countrymen are starting to see the real nature of Vice President Binay,” the Senator told reporters using Filipino.

He added that the drop in ratings of Binay is an effect of investigation being done by Senate Blue Ribbon Sub-Committee. Trillanes hopes that revelations made in the Senate investigation can negatively affect Binay’s aspiration to become country’s president. “Mahirap namang magkaroon ulit tayo ng magnanakaw na presidente.”

Binay’s camp revealed that “Oplan Stop Nognog 2016” is being conspired by some of Liberal Party and Nacionalista Party members. “This is a well-funded, well-financed, well-organized conspiracy, the principal aim of which is to destroy the chances of Vice President Binay to become the next President in 2016,” United Nationalist Alliance Secretary General JV Bautista told ANC.

“Sa palagay ko iyan ay isang panlilinlang ng kampo ni Vice President Binay para malihis ang isyu,” Trillanes said.
