China just recently slammed Philippines’ Triple Action Plan. This action plan seeks to ease growing tension in the West Philippine Sea and the entire South China Sea.
China said they can do what they want in Spratly Islands. “The Spratly Islands are China’s intrinsic territory, and what China does or doesn’t do is up to the Chinese government.”
Currently, Vietnam, Brunei and Indonesia expressed support for Philippines’ TAP. This action plan includes moratorium in activities raising tensions, full implementation of Declaration of Conduct and realization of Code of Conduct, and eventually abiding with arbitration court’s decision.
Philippines will push the said action plan in all international forum it will attend through Department of Foreign Affairs.
