Filipino-Chinese businessman donates two brandnew boats to Philippine Navy

Edmon Borja, a Filipino-Chinese businessman, donated two brand new utility boats to the Philippine Navy. According to ABS-CBN News Channel’s exclusive report, Borja was upset when he saw reports that a Philippine ship was blocked by a Chinese Coast Guard during its way to Ayungin Shoal to rotate troops in BRP Sierra Madre.

Borja said, the Chinese government have already occupied some few kilometers in the West Philippine Sea and time may come that China may occupy Palawan.

He owns a boat making company. He donated two new utility boats to help navy troops in monitoring the West Philippine Sea. These two boats are designed to transport troops and supplies.

Vice Admiral Jesus Millan, the navy chief, received the boats saying these 2 utility boats are important to the navy. The Philippine Navy is thankful that it came from a civilian. These boats will be used to transport troops and medical supplies.

These two boats will be deployed to Naval Forces West.

Borja added that he is not afraid of what the Chinese community will say, he urged the Filipinos to do what they can to tell China that Filipinos put high importance to West Philippine Sea including Spratly Islands, even in the most little way.
