PNoy leads inauguration of INC’s Philippine Arena

President Benigno Aquino III leads the inauguration of the Iglesia ni Cristo’s Philippine Arena in Ciudad de Victoria at Bacoor, Bulacan on Monday, July 21.

Vice President Jejomar Binay is also present in the said event.

Aquino congratulates the homegrown religious group for their effort to help in the development of the country. The President also extends his advance greetings for INC’s centennial anniversary on July 27.

During PNoy’s speech, he quoted two verses from the Bible. John 13:34,35 – here Jesus Christ says “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

President Aquino also quoted Matthew 25:40, here Jesus Christ said “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

After the President’s speech, INC executive minister Eduardo V. Manalo handed to Aquino a copy of Philippine Arena’s coffee table book.

Philippine Arena is built not only to host INC’s religious gatherings, but also, to host other religion’s event, non-religious international gatherings, local and international sports event, and possibly the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
